Onida Chamber of Commerce member businesses are taking part in the ‘spooky’ fun when they open their doors to trick-or-treaters on October 29.
Although skies will be overcast the remainder of the week, temperatures of around 63 degrees are forecasted for next Friday, which will make for a pleasant Halloween family outing.
Since 2011, Onida merchants have welcomed trick-or-treaters during business hours on Halloween. Merchants say they enjoy seeing the kids in their costumes, and parents say they appreciate being able to stop at a lot of places over a short distance and time-span.
The activity is a project of the Onida Chamber of Commerce. Businesses will open their doors to the trick-or-treaters from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Participating businesses are indicated with a pumpkin in the window.
