The Sully County Historical Society’s FAST triathlon has been rescheduled to Saturday, August 14, during the Sully County Fair.

In four different age brackets, ages 4-8 years, 9-14 years, 15-30 years, and 31 and above, four person teams comprised of two girls/women and two boys/men will combine their efforts in achieving the best time in three events: 3’ swimming pool walk, corn hole bean bag toss, and FAST hoop shoot in which participants will make a basket from spots marked F A S T on the court.

“This is meant to be a fun event that involves people of all ages,” said SCHS fundraising committee member Nola LaRosh.

The cost to enter the triathlon is $100 per team. With check-in starting at 9:30 a.m., the triathlon will have a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. “It won’t take very long to run through the events,” said Nola. “We should be done by noon so everybody can run home or go out for lunch.”

Assemble a team and contact fundraising committee members Beth Rinehart (605-222-2966), Susan Lamb (605-765-4516), Kelli Stephens (218-969-0920) or Nola LaRosh (605-222-1383) to register.

“Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required,” said Nola
