Peterson Farm Brothers

Two music acts are among the many taking the stage during the Sully County Fair Thursday-Sunday, August 8-11.

The fair opens Thursday when the Barstool Boys strum their way onto the Fairgrounds Stage for a concert featuring their acoustic duets of familiar country and pop music. The music show is sponsored by Weischedel Bucking Bulls and will be followed by a watermelon feed sponsored by Vilas Healthcare and outdoor movie sponsored by Wade Fischer Trucking (bring your own lawn chair for the movie).

Saturday opens with the Peterson Farm Brothers on the fairgrounds stage at 10:00 a.m. Since 2012, the Central Kansas farm family has amassed more than 50 million views of its thirteen parody videos, including Farming and I Grow It and Farmer Style. The family creates social media content to promote agriculture and works to positively impact those within and without the ag community. The Peterson Farm Brothers performance is sponsored by Doug and Clara Marsh.

The Minute to Win It games will get underway on the fairgrounds stage at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by the Pedal Tractor Pull sponsored by Lamb Implement at 4:00 p.m.

The Youth Talent Contest sponsored by Yackley Ranches and Silver City Symphony will be on stage at 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Local performers will also be on the fairgrounds stage for the gospel music hour on Sunday morning beginning at 9:30 a.m.
