Lance Keith Day passed away unexpectedly at the age of 52 due to natural causes on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at his home in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Washburn~McReavy Albin Eden Prairie Chapel, 7625 Mitchell Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55344. Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m.
Lance was born on February 3, 1971 in Pierre, South Dakota to Leslie and Lois (Yeager) Day. He grew up in Onida, South Dakota with his two older brothers and sister and went to school within the Sully Buttes school system for 12 years. After high school graduation, Lance attended South Dakota State University where he graduated in May of 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. His entire career was spent in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area working for (EPS Solutions, Cargill, EcoLab, Zep, and National Carwash Solutions at the time of his death). He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and regularly joined his family of gamers for evenings full of board games and miniature events.
Lance is survived by his parents, Leslie and Lois Day, brothers Lowell (Helen), Leland (Hannah), and sister Lorlee (Kevin) Steever and seven nieces/nephews and a grand-niece.
Lance will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
