On Thursday, February 9, the Charger girls took on the Mobridge/Pollock Tigers. The JV lost 21-42 and the Varsity won 48-44.

In the first quarter of the JV game, the Chargers were outscored 5-14 by the Tigers. In the second quarter the Chargers managed to outscore the Tigers 9-7. The score at halftime showed the Tigers in the lead, 21-14.

The Chargers came out slow in the third quarter only scoring 2 points and the Tigers scoring 11 points. In the fourth quarter of the game, the Chargers were outscored once again by the Tigers 5-10. The final score was 21-42, a Tiger victory.

The lead scorers were Jadyn Jaeger and Payge Bakker with 5 points each, Olivia Olson had 3 points, Berkley Birney, Natalie Miles, Isabelle Kallhoff and Myli Weischedel each had 2 points.

The Chargers had 7 fouls and were 42% at the free throw line.

In the first quarter of the Varsity game, the Chargers swept the Tigers 13-2. In the second quarter the Chargers did it again outscoring the Tigers 15-6. The halftime score was 28-8, the Chargers winning.

In the third quarter, the Tigers came out strong scoring 18 points and the Chargers scoring 8. The Tigers outscored the Chargers again in the fourth quarter, 18-12 still falling short of a victory. The Chargers won the game with a score of 48-44.

Lead scorer was Stevie Wittler with 17 points, Addison Chicoine had 13 points, Lydia Hill with 8 points, Allyson Wittler with 7 points and Caitlin Birney with 3 points.

The Chargers had 10 fouls and were 65% at the free throw line.
