Sully Buttes defenders zero in on the Wolverines’ ball carrier.

Sully Buttes’ only touchdown came in the opening minutes of the second quarter on a 4-yard rushing touchdown from Landon Hepker with Thomas Farries scoring the 2-point conversion. At 6:45 in the second quarter Herreid/Selby’s Tray Hettick passed to Colton Schumacher who scored the touchdown, but the conversion points were not scored leaving the half time score 8-6 with the Chargers leading. Herreid/Selby Area took over scoring with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Tray Hettick passed to Carter Tisdall for a 22-yard touchdown and Brenden Begeman rushed 3 yards for the conversion points. With 1:45 left in the game Brenden Begemen had a 30-yard run and Trevor Sayler scored on the conversion. The Wolverines won 22-8. Jordan Schall rushed for 73 yards and Thomas Farris 71. Brenden Begeman rushed for 202 yards and a touchdown. Colton Schumacher received for 83 yards and had one touchdown. The Chargers had 143 total yards while the Wolverines had 316.

Sully Buttes now 0-4 will have a bye this week and then will be at home taking on the Hitchcock/Tulare Patriots.
