On Tuesday, January 17 the varsity boys’ basketball took on the Timberlake Panthers in Onida. The Chargers won the game 69-48.

The Chargers outscored the Panthers by ten points in the first quarter of the game, 19-9. In the second quarter of the game, the Chargers scored 21 points and the Panthers scored 15. The score was 40-24 at halftime.

In the third quarter of the game the Chargers came out strong tripling the amount of points scored by the Panthers, 24-8. The Panthers managed to outscore the Chargers in the final quarter of the game scoring 16 points to the Chargers five points. The end score was 69-48 a Charger victory.

Lead scorer was Wesley Wittler with 22 points. Following him were Landon Hepker with 12 points, Trevor Marshall with 9 points, Tyler Marshall with 8 points, Thomas Farries with seven points, Logan Severson and Eli Mercer with four points each and Gavin Colson with three points.

The Chargers had 15 fouls and were 54% at the free throw line.
